Items are a necessity to help you do many things in CHKN.
Overview[ | ]
The items below can consist of simple toys, work tools, and weapons. Some can be hand crafted, while others require the Workbench. Currently, there are a few that are only found in Creative Mode, but will be brought in to Adventure Mode eventually. The recipes for each item are also listed in the table.
List of Items[ | ]
Item | Recipe | Requires | Notes | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Take your creatures for a walk, or keep them close so they don’t run away. While selected, left click to attach, and right click to detach. | |||||
Crafted with heads from a dragon, these fruits are only used for a thrown weapon, which will explode after a few seconds. | |||||
All tamed creatures love to play, and if you throw a beach ball at them, they will fetch it for you. | |||||
Currently, the blowpipe will only be found in Creative Mode. It requires darts to be used as a ranged weapon. | |||||
The bucket is in the game, but currently cannot be used for anything. | |||||
The dart is considered the ammo for the blowpipe. It has no use on its own. | |||||
The pet tag is used to name your tamed creature. Left click to place the tag, and a window will pop up, where you can type your creature's name. The name will appear floating when close to your creature. | |||||
The hatchet is one of the most useful tools for gathering resources yourself, along with attacking or defending yourself against aggressive creatures. | |||||
The lantern can be carried by hand to help light up the night. It can also be hung on structure walls as a lighting fixture. | |||||
The saddle is a great addition to your tamed creature. Once attached in an upright position, you can press E to ride and control the direction your creature moves in. | |||||
The torch is an early necessity to help you see throughout the night. You can attach it to walls, and also attack with it, but be careful with the flames! The torch also dies over time. | |||||
The whistle is a must have for all your tamed creatures. Call them to you with one click of the left mouse button; tell them to go to a location with two clicks of the left mouse; or have them attack an object or another creature with one click of the right mouse button. Know that they must be in a happy mood before they listen. | |||||
The slingshot is a weapon that can be used to attack enemies from afar. Using ammo made from rocks, you can left click to shoot. |
